MAJESTY.     considered you my King for many years and listen to Christmas speech was "an article of faith and respect," without accepting or being mean agree on everything you said. Consider yourself stopped my King and I consider you just spent a ... LORD, in the time in your speech you proclaimed that "all Spaniards are equal before the law", but today, to present your abdication as King of Spain for your son, our Prince, proudly call ...     Te consideré mi Rey durante muchísimos años y escuchar tu discurso navideño era " un dogma de fe y respeto", sin que ello significara aceptar o estar de acuerdo en todo lo que decías. Dejé de considerarte mi Rey y pasaste a considerarte simplemente ... SEÑOR, en el momento en que en tu discurso proclamaste que " todos los españoles somos iguales ante la Ley", pero hoy, al presentar tu abdicación como Rey de España en favor de tu hijo, nuestro Príncipe, con orgullo de llamo ... MAJESTAD.
   Vuelve el ciclo de la vida a repetirse y aún habiendo nacido en cuna real, no has dejado nunca de ser un simple ciudadano con determinados privilegios pero también con la imposibilidad de vivir y disfrutar en la libertad que vivimos los demás ciudadanos de a pie. El ciclo de tu vida en el reinado de España ha llegado ha su fin, porque así lo has decidido  y como simple ciudadano de esa calle llamada España, sin tener la intelectualidad progresista de nuestros políticos y escritores, pero con la libertad de expresión que nuestra Constitución nos otorga y de la que tú, tanto has luchado con conseguir que la tengamos, hoy MAJESTAD, te doy las gracias por haberte considerado durante muchos años ... mi Rey.
    Te vas con los deberes realizados y tu difunto padre se sentirá orgulloso de como has dirigido este País, desde el puesto que él mismo te encomendó de ser " el Rey de todos los españoles".
    Vienen nuevos tiempos que si bien yo mismo no los entiendo ya ( y lo peor es que tampoco quiero entenderlos), es posible que tú, tampoco los entiendas. Das paso a tu hijo, nuestro Príncipe y pronto nuestro Rey, pero tu labor ya ha pasado a la Historia y en esa balanza de la vida, donde quedaran las cosas buenas que has hecho y las cosas malas que pudieras haber hecho, para este ciudadano considero que el 90% es positivo y el 10% fué negativo. Sé que "determinados hechos" quedaran ocultos en los llamados "secretos de Estado" y solo con el largo tiempo de la vida podremos saber más cosas de tí, aunque esos confidenciales secretos habrá que valorarlos en función de quien los descubra y su interés social.
   Disfruta MAJESTAD de este nuevo ciclo que la vida te da, en el cual podrás saborear con más tiempo tu papel de Abuelo, podrás practicar sin críticas sociales, tus deportes preferidos ( teniendo en cuenta, claro está, tu edad)  y "alguna cosilla por ahí que la edad te permita".
   MAJESTAD, me siento orgulloso de ser ESPAÑOL y me he sentido muy orgullo que durante muchísimos años, de haberte considerado... mi Rey.
  GRACIAS por ello y que la vida aún te permita disfrutar de nuestra Democracia  a la que tú, has aportado tanto con tu esfuerzo para que los españoles la disfrutemos hoy.
